Ylli Haruni: A Visionary Impressionist Artist A native of Albania, Ylli Haruni graduated from the prestigious Academy of Arts in Tirana in 1976. He went on to achieve national recognition and acclaim with numerous paintings featured in the permanent collection of the Albanian National Art Gallery and Museum. National honors continued to be bestowed upon Haruni in the following decade as the Albanian National Assembly awarded him with the Medal Naim Frasheri in 1985 Scenographer) and 1989 (Artist). Thank you Jan Law for visiting my portfolio and for your suggestion, The reason this piece may appears in Marilyn Monroe site is because in the category I included "Marilyn Monroe Towers" for those 2 towers in the backgroun of this piece. Now they are calld "Absolut Towers" but they still are known with the first nickname. The “Marilyn Monroe” Towers were awarded the prize of Best Tall Buildings in the Americas. I hope that the ones who want to buy Marillyn's portrait will be able to tell the difference....: :)
